LIFE'S PURPOSE

When I sit in my twilight years
I'll ponder on the purpose of my life.
What worth will I give to the years I've lived?
What value will there be?

A caring nature that touched on man
Without a 'thronely' bearing?
Will I hae suffered far
How else to teach of patience?

The road is 'long'
but 'lost'
If wisdom was not gained.

What still will purpose be
If hoarded deep within the walls
Of selfish satisfaction?

A life of purpose is lived each day
Proving itself to it's neighbor.

No thought is taken - Each step reflects
The soul that does the living!

No amount of self praise given
Will add to ones own stature
Only the life that is pure from within
Reflects our God who is in him!
